Camp FAQs

What is a David Lloyd holiday camp?

We know how much work it can be to make children's holidays fun and varied, or even to organize childcare every single day. That's why we've been offering our popular holiday camps for many years. Whether it's swimming, or other fun sports – there's something for everyone. In addition to the themed activities, we have a blast all week long playing team games or splashing around in the pool. Boredom is guaranteed to be banished!

What does a typical day at a David Lloyd Camp look like?

Each day at camp begins with a morning circle where we discuss the day's activities. In addition to at least 90 minutes of themed program activities, we make the day fun and varied, sometimes with sports games and competitions, an afternoon at the movies, water fun in the pool, or a great craft activity. Fun is guaranteed! Drinks, snacks, and hot meals are included in the camp price.

What does my child need to bring to camp?

Your child should bring sportswear and clean indoor shoes to camp each day. If your child has equipment specifically needed for camp (e.g., martial arts uniform), they are welcome to bring and use it. You will receive detailed information about what your child needs at camp upon registration.

Can I, as a parent, attend the camp?

Parents are not permitted to accompany their children during camp. However, at some camps, we warmly invite all parents to watch the final tournament or performance (depending on the camp) on the last day.

How do I register my child for a holiday camp?

How much does a holiday camp cost and how do I pay?

The costs vary for each camp, swimming course, and event; you can find the exact prices with the respective event. Fees can be paid immediately after registration, but no later than two weeks before the desired date, at our club reception in cash, by debit card, or by credit card.

Cancellation of a camp or event is free of charge up to 14 days in advance. For cancellations less than 14 days before the start date, the full fee will be charged. If your child becomes ill, you will receive a credit for the missed sessions upon presentation of a doctor's certificate.

What if my child can't attend the holiday camp after registering?

You can cancel a camp or event free of charge up to one week before it starts. Cancellations made less than one week before the start date will be charged in full. If your child becomes ill, we’ll issue a credit for any missed sessions upon receipt of a medical certificate.
