If you’re ready to refresh your fitness routine, it may be time to venture beyond the gym and make a splash with aqua aerobics. These low-impact classes are a great way to build strength and fitness, make new connections in and out of the pool, and breathe new life into your workouts.
Aqua fitness takes dynamic aerobic movements to the pool. Led by a trained instructor, you can expect a full-body workout that combines cardio and strength-training exercises. And you don’t need to be a strong swimmer: you’ll always be able to reach the pool floor as you jump, kick, and lunge your way through a class.
Your workout will also be enhanced by using a range of specialised aquatic workout equipment. This may include water weights and dumbbells for lifts and extensions to improve arm and leg strength, or kickboards and swim bars for improving coordination and flexibility as you move against the water. And remember, there’s no “first place” in aqua aerobics — all you have to do is enjoy yourself as you move at your own pace.

Aqua aerobics is for anyone looking for a fun, group-focused exercise routine. After all, exercising in the water is really simple, with excellent accessibility for a wide range of mobility and skill levels.
Our instructors provide the more specialised equipment, but we recommend you bring a water bottle and comfortable well-fitting swimwear to every session. Also, don’t forget to bring a towel and flip flops for drying off and moving around post workout.
Members are able to book into our aqua classes 2 weeks prior to the session and are required to book the class in advance. If all aqua sessions are unavailable, you are able to join the waiting list for the time of your choice and will receive a notification if a spot becomes available.
Booking yourself into our aqua aerobics sessions can be done either via the app or in person at the club. And don’t worry, if you can’t make it one week, there is no commitment, just book in for the week after.
